I noticed on their website that Gander Mountain will be selling used firearms online. Hmm...

New guns are overpriced 95% of the time at GM. However, I have found some steals on used guns. My guess is the prices won't be so good online. Who knows how they'll set it up, but I doubt we'll see the good prices that my local store sometimes sets for used guns.

They don't have a clue as to what they are worth. The net will show them. I have seen some used stuff priced at both ends and actually got one very good deal there. I didn't buy any of their overpriced ammo for it though. Occasionally you can catch a deal there, but most of their stuff is way too high. They make money or they wouldn't be open, which means most of their customers ain't got a clue.

you should have added insult to injury and said $500 and you got a deal.:D

I once bought a 39-2 in great shape from a Gander Mountain for $250.00. All the others I could find were priced at $400.00. I foolishly traded it off later.

On the other hand, I bought a Ruger MK II, NRA Endowment model 22, from them for $219.00 when they were blowing them out. I thought it was a steal at that price.

About six months later, we saw another one, just like the one she has in the used gun cabinet for $599.00. I asked the clerk what was special about THIS one. He gave me a song and dance about how it was given away at some fundraiser and had a "special" serial number. I could tell he was blowing smoke, and I could tell he knew, that I knew he was blowing smoke. I said "You mean somebody to took on a trade?" He laughed and said "You got it."

They eventually did sell that gun. No idea what they got for it.
