I just came across 400 rounds of 30-06 Ammo in 8 round Garand clips. Better to separate them and sell ammo and clips separately?
Any specific value to m1 clips?

I have about 25 bandoliers filled with clips and ammo made in Greece on WW loading equipment back some time ago....
Must be worth something.

From what I am seeing, a bandolier of US GI AP will sell for at least double that. AP is very desirable today.
Shoot the ammo and give the clips to local VFW, American Legion.

I see the clips going for about $1 each at the gun shows. I still have a bunch I picked up off the ground when I used to the shooting range with my father as a kid. A lot of surplus ammo came in Garand clips, nobody wanted them and they just left them where they fell.

As murphydog stated, keep it. Here's some additional advice...Have a Garand? Use the ammo and save the clips.
Don't have a Garand but have a .30-'06? Unless the ammo is collectible, use the ammo and save the clips. Simple.![]()
