Went to top off my tank after midnight and still had to wait in line. Thanks to Harvey.

Yup it is a mess here alright. Fortunately I have reserves of diesel and gasoline for moments like this. Couldn't get pictures, but likes out into the intersections. You would think it was the end of times.

I was out and about in the northern DFW suburbs today, and was amazed to see big lineups of autos at all of the dozen or so stations I passed. Yesterday, there was none of that. On the news tonight it was stated that there are no shortages, it's just going to take a few days to adjust the distribution systems to make up for the few refineries that were shut down. Some of those refineries are already up and running. Fortunately, the tanks in my cars are 3/4 full, so I just drove on by. I felt sorry for those with low tanks who really needed to gas up having to spend an hour or two in line so that the panic-stricken could top off.

Local news here in Houston just said that at least 10 refineries along the Gulf coast are shut down, not sure when they will be back online. Harvey caused a lot of problems for sure.

It will be years before Houston as a city is back to it pre-Harvey condition......very tough times lie ahead for them.

no gas lines but gas it is up 28 cents since Wednesday morning
We get most of our fuel from the Colonial Pipeline that is now shut down. The local news said our area had the biggest price spike in the country, 49 cents so far.

Here in FL, it jumped about .28.........funny how the Walmart Neighborhood Market is $2.49 like everyone else, but the Walmart about 1 mile away is at $2.36..............

This last monday , fuel here in DFW area was from 2.19-2.29 / gal . Yesterday , I saw fuel selling for $3.69/gal here in the N. Dallas area at several stations . The cars were lined up in very long lines to buy it .

Gas is slightly up here. All of our refineries are still down but all the workers are working overtime including my BiL and Nephew. Gas lines can be long here depending where you try filling up at? I got in line after waiting on one car yesterday--filled up at $2.11 a gallon.

It's the idiots in the media that are causing the panic and driving everyone to top off every day.

I fueled up yesterday in Cedar Park TX Costco where the '87' gas was $1.999.

I have the Gas Buddy app on my Nexus 5X phone to find the best price for the area I'm in or traveling to..

Here near my home Costco usually has the lowest price.

Gas prices up here too.
No complains from me!
I had much rather pay a little more than be in the mess all those Harvey folks are in!
