Geissele Reaction Rod AR-10

I plan on installing a free float hand guard on my M&P 10.

Has anyone used the AR-10 Geissele Reaction Rod on their M&P 10? Geissele couldn't confirm that it was compatible with the M&P 10.

If not, what are you using to change out the handrail?

I have used the Guissele Reaction Rod on my M&P10. It is compatible and works great. Pricey, though...

I went back and forth with this for a month. The best solution I found was the NO-M.A.R® 308 223 Multical Upper Receiver Vise Block Gunsmith Barrel Nut Tool. $19 on eBay and it works on both the AR10 or AR15. Look into it. I used it on my M&P15 and it worked flawless. I also plan to use it on my M&P10 soon.

and on "odd ball" stuff like a lefty upper. Regarding reaction rod -type tools, I'd prefer the Midwest Industries version with the added support. MI-URR<br>MI Upper Receiver Rod
