Getting a M&P .40

A friend of mine just called me and he has to sell his M&P .40. I asked him what he wanted for it and he said $400 for the weapon and 3 mags. I told him I would take it if he could wait a week for me to get back from National Guard duty. He said he would wait so I am getting a new to me weapon. I have been carrying and shooting Glocks for about 13 years and I am looking forward to shooting and carrying this gun.

Yes, I got mine with 3 mags and it looks just like new. I paid 430 so you got a good deal. I'm on the prowl now for a compact.

I purchased a 40c (slightly used) at a gun show a couple of months ago. My sign was the gun I bought was put aside to be sold to someone else. I was looking at a brand new one, when the dealer asked if I was "John". I said, "No, I'm not, why do you ask?". He said, he brought the (used) gun to sell to John, but John did not show up, "would I be interested?". Well, the rest is history. I got it for $400 and when I sent in my $50 S&W rebate, I got that back too. I've only put about 400 rds through it so far, but I love it. I've installed a CTC laser grip on it (which I got for $217, retail $329) and it's my full time CCW and home defender.

I have one and like it a lot. I am waiting on the 9 right now and will follow up with a M&P40 compact for carrying. They are great guns. I shoot the 40 now for competition and figure the 9 with less recoil and lighter should help my scores......

Odered an M&P 40c. Tuesday pickup. S&W may have hit a clean "Headshot" with the M&P. The pistols are getting great reviews.

I'm on my third one so far...had one of the first in the SE Wisconsin area, sold that to a co-worker so I could get something else (I think it was the M&P .45) then got another one with night sights...sold that (needed cash) and recently got my third...this one's not going anywhere! Next will probably be the .40 compact.
