I feel great other than weird aches and pain from my shoulder and ankle. I still can't put weight on my foot. But I am allowed to wiggle it a little. The incision is taking longer than I thought it would to heal. But it will get there. Its going to take a long time to regain strength in my bad arm. I'm not letting it get to me. All this is just a speed bump in life.
I posted a thread about roll bars in my Torino. I decided not to do that. I probably doesn't need it anyway. I have ideas for paint. I'm going to paint it myself. I thought blue, white racing stripes and quilted tan interior. I'm not going to be able to afford to buy brand new wheels, seats or much of anything. So I will have to hunt parts that I can buy used but in good shape. I kinda like those slotted mags from Starsky and Hutch. Or mag wheels.
My car had the original rear seat. I all as well redo it. I need front bucket seats. Ford made many bucket seats through out the 70s and 80s with head rest I can afford. I can get them reupholster. I will just use whatever I find for it. I bought a full set of Stewart Warner stage 3 gauges for my C30. I even got some dash turn indicator lights and highbeam light. I got all that to make a new gauge bezel. Since the C30 is not really in workable condition. I decided to use them in my Torino. I can probably use a Cyclone dashpad. That would free up space to make a gauge cluster bezel. The problem is the fact I will lose that cool pod look the original dash gave my car.
I already talked about my 427 and C6 transmissions on this forum. I'm going to get my 427 close to the original look as possible. I want it to have that old black paint with chrome valve covers. Depending on what parts I end up with. My torino might have a 70s or 80s custom car look. I hope it doesn't look corny. lol
If I can rebuild my C30. I'm going to keep it simple. I want to paint it matt red with a stake bed. I will reuse my current flatbed if possible. But it will probably be for show only.
