Glad your excited about your new store but I am going to have to pass.

Like Gander mountain, the prices scare me to death. I watched a salesman try to sell a Sig M2022 in 9MM for $640 and when I wanted to pull him aside and tell him he could get the same gun at Academy for $500, I shut my mouth.

I met him outside, after he left and told him there.

no Danica
as far as powder it wasn't on the shelves yet I am in the Tracker and Mako dept. as a tech.
They also sell Arctic Cat atv's, If you live local you can order online
and pick up at the store free delivery on orders over 50.00
ordering powder or primers no hazmat charges apply. Gun prices, don't know yet they are not on display yet

Memphis has a new Bass Pro opening May 1. It's going to be a rather large one.

Just do like they do here--campout overnight. Here--some people actually camped out for a solid week-just to be the first customers toget into a Jack-in-the-box.

Also,at some of these grand openings--sometimes they do give away very nice prizes. I know that the local Jacks in thes--gave away free food to the first five to enter--for a year.

I didn't make the pre opening or the regular opening for the Cabelas in Berlin MA but did stop by the other day. I was not impressed as the fish tank would fit in my living room and the used gun department was terrible. I think they had one old M&P but mostly new black plastic handguns. I did pick up a box of 500 9mm boolit heads made by Rainier Ballistics, anybody ever use them?

Bass Pro is spending a fortune to convert the old Pyramid Arena into more than just a store, but a tourist attraction. I've been to the store in Springfield, MO and must say that it is impressive. The new memphis store is supposed to put that one to shame.
I give it two, maybe three years. In five years at most that eyesore called the Pyramid will be empty and falling apart once again.
Good idea, wrong town.

I thought the Pyramid had already fallen into the Miss.
