In the last few months I have been really getting into folders, especially the one handed type and some others. With my left arm banged up I don't do so well opening my traditional pocket knives like my Uncle Henry and Old Timer and I can't wear my fixed blade hunting knives around in public without drawing too much attention, so I have been getting some folders.

I carry my Smith & Wesson First Response knife everywhere I go. I would never think to need some of the things on it like the glass breaker and seat belt cutter, but you never know when they might be necessary. Not to mention the knife is pretty hefty, something I like.

I really like my Extreme Ops tanto, this is probably my new favorite knife. I tried one of Kabar's Zombie Killer Tanto's and the blade did not hold up well at all, where as this knife for 1/3 of the price has done everything I have asked without question.

A couple people have asked me why I bought the little HRT bear claw knife, until I show them how quickly I can have that knife out of its sheath. It is amazing how quickly you can pull that knife when its on the belt on the small of my back. If I ever needed a back up to my 649 that you really can't see and would certainly put a hurtin on someone, this is the knife.

Great looking knives. Could you show a pic of the back of the First Respone knife?

I would like to see the clip. I've seen a few S&W knives that had the window break but had the clip upside down so that the point of the window break was outside of the pocket.

Also, is it a spring-assist?

Thanks
