Gift from an Italian friend

Hello members,


I'm an italian owner of an M&P 45 Core,
i've recently bought the adapterC+H Precision Optics Adapter Plate for Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 C.O.R.E. and Trijicon RMR/SRO, Holosun 407C/507C/508C/508T
through amazon but i cant send in italy for your local laws.

amazon sent me the refund without send back the item.
now the item is at my forwarder agency in sarasota (FL) www.Myus.com want to give a late christmas gift to some in florida without
any cost .
i don't want to leave the item at the forwarder agent

I hope that this isn't against any rule of the forum..

He had it shipped to a company that forwards items worldwide. Some sellers do not export, so buyers use this company to send items to them in other countries: https://www.myus.com/
myus.com probably refuses to ship gun related items, or this item might be a "controlled" item under US export laws.
Amazon refunded his money, and he is offering this item as a gift.
At most, the OP will (should) only be asking for a shipping address, so let's hold off on the scam labelling.

mmassimo_ita contacted me last month via PM to see if I would help him get that C&H plate he originally ordered by shipping it to him myself. I politely declined, telling him that I would not circumvent EAR/ITAR federal export regulations (and risk fines or prison time), even though I agreed that IMO the C&H plate should not be considered an export-controlled "gun part". He understood my position. I suggested he contact the forwarding agency to see if they were interpreting the regulations correctly and that the C&H plate was actually on the restricted list. I'm glad that his money was refunded, and I hope that he can find an RDO mounting plate in Europe. I don't need another S&W CORE optics plate, but if someone does, it looks like mmassimo is offering one as a gift.

This is the exact history of my purchase.
Amazon gave me a full refund.
I just need an address to send the item to as a gift, that's it.

Check if Calculated Kinetics can ship to you. Theirs is a better plate anyway.

Yes, they do. I have one on my M&P 2.0 Pro Series C.O.R.E. It is the standard M&P 2.0 optics ready plate.

You need to get your boys at L.P.A. di Ghilardi S.R.L. straightened out. I emailed them asking them to make the LPA Adjustable White Outline Sight Set like they make for Glock, for the M&P. They told me no. That’s not very good international relations.

I have thse LPA sghts on my RIA 10mm 1911 and I like them a lot. I'd love a set made to fit a CORE M&P.

I don't think there are too many M&Ps in Italy, so they don't produce them. It's the same problem I have for the optic plate I was looking for.
in the USA there are many type ...in italy none.
