Gift wrapping gripes

Though I wouldn't want to have to do a lot of it, I find gift-wrapping to be kind of a nice diversion from the grind for a while. I'm always challenging myself to measure and cut just the right size piece of paper in order to minimize waste. The other night I got in a hurry and cut one that was too small. Measure twice, cut once, they say. I learned once again that, in my case anyway, haste virtually always makes waste.

Hat's off to the OP! Beer makes everything more interesting. Working in a Pro Shop, I get asked for advise for improvement on the driving range. For nice people, I recommend a Pro. For hot shots, I say "More beer, swing harder!"
