Wrapping presents=whoops!

My wrapping efforts have always looked like a drunken berserk monkey with stock in scotch tape company wrapped the present.
My wife always looked forward to a laugh and a smile at my efforts.

Ya know, true story similar to that one I did. I used to use newspaper to wrap presents once in a while. Inside the front cover of the old local newspaper, page two top left corner, the local police and fire reports are there. Well, my stupid butt made that section of the paper I was using on a gift for my Gramma. She saw it and said she already read it and laughed. (Minor altercation, no charges) The local paper’s on the scene reporters were on the case for scofflaws running stop signs and murders. Beaver County, PA…I miss you!!

Scofflaws, always loved that word.

Meh....I've been using left over birthday wrapping, anniversary wrapping, etc for years. Has become one of my trademarks. This year, however I went over the top-found a roll of wrapping paper decorated with Snoop dog wearing a Santa hat

Back when the funny papers was a section, I used to wrap presents in comic strips.

My brother used to use the Sunday comics to wrap presents.

LOL for years, starting in College I wrapped family gifts in the, colored, full double page spread, Pittsburgh Press ...................Sunday comics.

Picking the comic that went with the person...... Dad was "Dick Tracy"
Mom got "Blondie"

They don't exist here anymore.........................
