Has anyone here seen this AR variant? Seems like it would go nicely with a recently posted 1911......sorry, can't post a link from my tablet!

Basically a double rifle semi auto....kinda cool in this case!

Assuming this isn't a gag, wouldn't ATF consider this a machine gun, two rounds fired with a single trigger pull?

Not many pictures of it but looks to have one FCG for both barrels and compared to the double pistol in one, 1911, one FCG for each bullet fired. ATF does state one round per trigger pull.

The instant and accurate double-tap has been the holy grail of firearms makers for quite a while. It's primary purpose is to defeat high-level body armour.

Nikonov came up with an interesting but complex solution with his AN-94 design. That managed to get two bullets downrange before the recoil impulse hit the shooter and only used one barrel.

Gilboa makes a variety of AR platform rifles, several of which are $200 tax stamp material. The entire Gilboa product line seems much more practical than the double-barrel 1911 that made the rounds a while ago, in so far as a person needs a combat-ready AR. The rifles are made in Israel, which speaks well of the production quality.

Gilboa? Rifle
