Glock 36 for a M&P9c

Right after the XDs45 came out, I got one and liked it so well
my old standby Glock 36 went to the safe. A few months ago
I wrenched my thumb out of socket and the recoil of a .45acp
hurt to much. I have a Shield9 I really liked and so did
my wife. But she let me carry it after I hurt my thumb.

Yesterday a friend asked me if I'd be interested in trading the
G36 for his M&P9c. We traded and I'm in love. This gun shoots
very soft with 147 gr Gold Dots that I prefer and is more
accurate than I am. Easily conceals in the IWB and OWB
Crossbreed holsters I have for a full size M&P40. My XDs45
is not for sale (I hope to recover enough to shoot a .45 again)
but neither will this 9c ever be fore sale.

Nice trade. Does the 9C have the thumb safety?

I replaced the trigger bar, sear and slide lock in mine for the newer parts (still all S&W). A very big improvement. No thumb safety on mine.

No thumb safety here. Mine was born October 9th, 2013 so it's
fairly new. I have an APEX hard sere in my M&P45 and while
it's great for targets I feel it's to much for the street. Leaves
me a little leary about fooling with the trigger on a CCW. I like
The way this one shoots as is. Probably won't be messing with
it like that. I have a CT Laser Grip on order though. I do like
lasers on CCW 's.

Yes they are! I actually have 2 of them: one Bi-tone and one
Black. I'm actively seeking to trade into a XDs9. Thought I had
one today but the guy that was interested in swapping for a
Gen2 Glock 19 with CT Laser grip sights suddenly quit texting
and I see that his ad is no longer on GunOwners. Didn't do me
the courtesy of letting me know.
Oh well, I'll keep looking.
