GO PACK GO!

SOME OF MY WHAT IF'S. If dix had simply raised his arms he could have blocked the last regulation Seahawk t.d. If GB won the coin toss why in the world would they elect to kick the ball to the Seahawks who were on fire at that moment. A real nail biter though, and hope the superbowl will be as good. Congrats to Seahawk fans, personally I can't stand them.

Green Bay didn't win the toss. They called Tails and it was Heads.

I had nothing in the game but have always liked the Packers since I was a kid. That said, I was rooting for them but have to say now that they blew it and certainly deserved the loss. I don't know who the player was that bounced that onside kick off of his helmet but I'll bet his name is remembered for a long time in Green Bay! Now, I'd hate to see the Seahawks win the big one but I'd hate even more to see the whiner Brady win it too = neutral corner for me.

Pack fan here who's heart before the game was thinking victory but head was not. That said, the way we lost was not what i expected. I didnt think our D would almost out-play theirs and that it would seem for 90% of the game we were potentially the better team that day. But i give the 'hawks their due as they continued fighting when the Pack seemed to just fall apart.
Too many issues those last few minutes to blame just the drop on the on-sides kick, etc.... we had a good year that could have been great.

Guess i'll root for Seattle, if no other reason than to watch Wilson (ex-Badger) get another trophy.

THANKS FOR THE JINX JOB SPRICKS.

Feel free to walk under any ladders, or open umbrella's indoors, LOL. As much as it pains me to say so, the Hawks had NO QUIT in them. The pack played their hearts out also. Maybe some bad coaching decisions: Playing it too safe when 16 points ahead with field goals instead of td attempts, going for it on 4th downs, use of the clock & time outs, giving the hawks the first shot at the ball IN OVERTIME???? A great game none the less. Let's just hope Brady/Belichec take the Hawks to school and the wood shed, and we have another great game to watch. The food/drink dress rehearsal yesterday wet well. Any info on Sherman's injury?

MY BAD?

If I hadn't deleted the recording asap, I could re-check it, but take your word for it. My memory MAY have been a bit foggy, and in shock over things going south SO FAST by that time. How often are onside kicks successful? I thought that pack called tails & won the toss. With the first 1/2-3/4 stats, & # of turnovers what are the odds of a team pulling that off? With all the recent ref controversies, I thought they did a good job (overall), sure they can't be everywhere and see everything (like us with multiple camera angles). Funny how some of the commentators were freezing their butts off & didn't want to muss their hair with a hat, except Bradshaw who doesn't have much to mess up. If Howie Long had gripped the mike any tighter I think it would have snapped, I thought I could see him shivering.

I watched it on DVR and still have it but can't capture it to publish. But it was heads and why the refs immediately turned to Seattle to show they won the toss.

MAYBE

A case of the body telling the brain what it wants to hear. How many times have you sworn those bush branches looked like antlers in poor light?

Thanks for the kind words hangnoose! I suppose somebody has to be blamed for that loss....heads will be flying this off season I'm thinkin.

One of the hardest things to believe (or maybe not) is that the final stats show Seattle with the most passing yards, most rushing yards, most yards per play, most 3rd down conversions, most total yards, and most number of drives. The 5 turnovers made it seem like a worse game than it really was for the Hawks. They found a way to overcome those mistakes and took it home. Did GB give it away? Perhaps some but the Seahawks were doing pretty good at giving it away until they turned it around.

He definitely is, no Gee Men this year.:D

Nope, LOB instead. Just kind of depends also on the injuries as to whether they will be full strength. It would be good to see what happens with them at full strength. The one thing that the Hawks have going for them is that the Hawks (including Wilson) have defeated Brady before so it isn't something that hasn't been done.

You're absolutely correct, they whipped us in 2012 in Seattle, 24-23.

But what does a game that was played in 2012 have to do with the Super Bowl match up?

The score may be 50-0 in either direction.;)

Just the fact that they have beaten Brady and the Pats before. It isn't like they have never won against them and that the Pats are invincible. It may have nothing to do in this particular season but it isn't like how Luck hasn't beaten Brady yet.
