Going to a Brewers game this week.

My oldest daughter's class is going to a brewers game for a filed trip on Thursday. She enjoys watching baseball and I am taking my youngest along. It is predicted to be a nice warm day. last year she had a blast watching the racing sausages.

My wife's school use to take kids to Wrigley. These Were 10 year olds who had never been out of town before. We drove past a farm pond on the way and they thought it was Lake Michigan. When we got to the lake, they thought it was the ocean.

I had to go along as a chaperon and was not allowed even one beer. You can't imagine how loud 50 kids are on a school bus!

How in the wide world of sports can you go to Wrigley and not have a beer?????

One of the best times I ever had at a ballgame was a few years ago when me and the wife wound up behind the third base dugout about 10 rows up one glorious Monday afternoon at Wrigley. I wasn't planning on drinking so much beer but I had to keep hydrated as the day was warm and being from the South, I didn't trust the water

... Nope. Just checked.. Houston.. the only team in the NL with a worse record! And you wont even be able to drink.....

LASTROS is right. The mood here in Houston is grim. Most people want to trade anyone with value for prospects.

Regardless who's playing, a baseball game is a terrific outing! Nice weather, generally good seats, fun concessions, crowd comraderie, and the best ball you're ever gonna see! Fantastic place to bring a child, get 'em hooked on the Great American Pastime. Go, team, go!
