That is a good deal, thanks for posting that. Used factory 15 rnd mags for $16 apiece with free shipping.

thanks

Yes, thanks for posting that. I was looking for some magazines too. I recently rediscovered the beauty of third gen smith autos and got a few of them but only one mag each. err...

Thanks for the heads up, order placed.

It looks like the free shipping deal is though 5/19/14 1PM EST (even though the link provided only shows it through the 16th).

Got my mags tonight when I got home after work. They look to be OE Smith mags. Out of the five One looks almost unused. The other ones look a little used. All five eject awesomely from the gun. Will check later to see if they all work with ammo and shoot with them.

Thanks for the update Cballman. I see you are around the corner from Centerfire, no surprise you received your mags so soon.
I hope mine are as nice as yours.

The deal is still active as of 5-21-14, FYI.

Received my order today, two LE marked and three unmarked, all decent and functional, however I had a charge I can only assume was for using a credit card, as well as a shipping charge! Which puts me at ninety three bucks, not happy about that, placed the order on the 17th.

Just checked, the 5er deal is gone, but now you can buy individual mags for $14.99!

9mm S&W 15rd Mags - Used #MAGSW5906

Considering centerfire has a flat $10 shipping charge, $16 a mag for 5 means shipping wasn't really free, now was it?

Received mine yesterday. All S&W mags, four of five LE marked, one lightly used, the other four well used. One of them was polished and had a little bit of rust near the floor plate, but all should clean up nicely.

The order slip showed the 5 mags for $70 ($14 per mag) with a 9.99 shipping charge.

Got mine as well, 1 LE marked and one other that had the smallest hint of rust on the bottom end that wiped off no problem. Interesting to note however that 2 had the mag springs in backwards, and of those one also had the follower in backwards.

So, of the 5 I took the cleanest 2 and threw them in the 915 box with the original mag to keep as spares. Intend to use one of the 17rd Mec Gars Mags as the "keep in it" mag, the rest are range mags.

Not Stainless Magazines?

The ad states that the magazines are stainless steel. Why do you have rust on your magazines? Are they not stainless steel?

Would these magazines fit in the older Model 659, which I have?

Stainless CAN rust, it's just highly resistant to it ;)

Geez----$9.99 shipping for two mags? Kind of high. Still a good deal, I guess. I have extra mags but like stated above, you NEVER have enough! Mike

Mine Arrived Today

I ordered a 5-pack on the 17th but they were not shipped til the 22nd. (Shipped USPS Priority 2-day). From the on-line check-out it was pretty clear that they charged a flat $9.99 for shipping parts and accessories. (The charge for using a CC was a little vague). Anyway, they billed me $67.60 for the 5 magazines plus the shipping and CC fees.

The mags are all factory S&W mags; all need cleaning; 3 LE marked. The worst had a well-worn base plate, a number crudely scratched lightly in the front and light pitting. (I won't feel bad about dropping this one on the floor when doing a magazine change drill). Cycled dummies thru all 5 and they all seem to function OK.

Wish they had shipped a little sooner but otherwise I'm OK with the deal.

I've found that the stainless steel that S&W uses (or used, as they don't make their own mags anymore) is NOT very resistant to rust at all.
This is a good deal for factory mags, but always treat S&W stainless mags (and guns for that matter) as if they were blued carbon steel. Keep them lubed and you'll be good to go.

Stay Safe and rust free.
