Good handgun Magazines

Do a google search for "magazine subscriptions" and you'll be surprised the deals that are out there for the big gun magazines. You can get a 1-2 year subscription to every one of them for around $65 a year. Some have super cheap deals.

Here's one for $12.97 for a year, that's $1.08 a month delivered right to your front door. You can find four other mags for this price too. That should feed your "new gun owner" appetite with news, updates, and glossy photos! Good luck!

A lot depends on your interests. Revolvers, hunting, bullseye, IDPA, metallic Silhouette, IPSC, plinking, PPC, etc. Visit the big book stores, and go to the magazine rack and look through the variety and see what you like. After 20-30yrs of looking at gun magazines you aren't nearly as interested as you were originally. I am not really into tactical guns with all the "stuff" hanging off them, so I don't read about half of American Handgunner. Guns & Ammo is usually interesting, and the American Rifleman is "now" good. There are probably about 15 - 20 different magazines available for various levels of shooting interest.

I have subscribed to many of the mentioned magazines in the past. Shooting Times used to be one of my favorites.
The only two I currently get are American Rifleman and Concealed Carry from USCCA.
I like the articles they provide.
