nice story. i'll try to keep it short.
made a deal with br25004x4 on a scope. i shipped it last friday, usps priority mail with delivery confirmation. good old usps screwed-up, and indicated the package was delivered to the wrong city on their track & confirm page. i called them this morning, and the guy on the phone told me it was actually delivered to yet a different city (this time in a different state....), but they would try to locate it, mmmkay. at this point, i figure i'm out $185 for the scope and shipping, as i assured br25004x4 i would refund his money in a few days when they confirm it is officially lost. like a fool, i didn't insure the package.
br25004x4 sent me a PM this morning letting me know it had been delivered to his PO box, and everything was fine. the post office has no record of the delivery. he could have easily kept quiet, and enjoyed a free scope.
that, folks, is honesty and integrity. just wanted to share.
thanks again, br25004x4!
