Yesterday my wife, my son and I were coming from one of my many doctor's appointments this and last week. I can't drive following my surgery so my wife has to. We had our son in the jeep and were getting ready to get on the highway when some young girl pulled out from a side street crossed another lane and hit the driver side door and front fender shoving us over into another lane. The jeep was ok mechanically except for some sheet metal damage (darn thing is a tank), the girl's car was practically totaled. She had a little Honda and just from what I could see it smashed her passenger side headlight, fender, the bumper, the hood was wrinkled and grill was done in. She was ok, my son and I were ok and my wife was a nervous wreck. I asked her a few times along with the cops if she was ok to drive since I can't. We started home and about halfway she started complaining of pain in her side so we went to the hospital and she has a cracked rib from where the door was hit. So she is very sore, I am sore from my surgery and with the 3 year old this week is going to be a lot of fun but we will manage. I just hope we don't get any more snow. It could have been a lot worse but sheesh this last year and more has been interesting.
