I just joined the forum because I wanted some info on a friends S&W revolver. The responses were great and very fast.
I retired after 28 years in the Air Force where I spent most of my time as an OSI Special Agent. I then worked as an agent with the Defense Investigative Service for another 14 years and am now completely retired.
Several years ago I got interested in firearms, especially older ones and especially 1911's. I have five ranging from an original Ithaca from 1943, a S&W commemorative for the IDPA Nationals in 2008 and 3 others that have enjoyed tuning and shooting. My carry gun is a Walther PPS and I use a S&W M&P 9for home defense. In addition I have many long guns.
