Good Evening from Communist Washington state

Hi from Tennessee (as rarely as I am actually there).
Washington state is beautiful.
There is nothing quite like flying into Seattle and seeing Mount Rainier with its head sticking out the clouds.
It is a sight to behold, but St. Helens with its more recent history (May 18 1980) is an absolute marvel and I tried to visit any time I can.
And those two places are just a tip of the iceberg.
I will be up there in June…

Welcome from another Washingtonian! Yes, it just keeps getting worse here. I wish you the best.

Beautiful state but hasn’t been the same (gunwise) since
Warshal's Sporting Goods closed in Seattle.
Wish you best.

I'm fortunate I picked up some of the now-proscribed models and have little need for another doublestack 9mm, .40, or AR/AK type gun.

I am through buying guns at this stage of life but there are younger people that are up against it. I have guns I can't even legally give to my grandkids!

My first handgun was a SW 645, purchased new when they came out, and latest is a Model 15-2 still on the way.

Been around for a while lurking, finally decided to register. I am a retired Air Force LC, whose speciality was combat rescue/special ops. I enjoyed my Air Force time, but then I went to work for the state and hated every minute of the woke Employment Security department. My association with S&W started when I was stationed in Columbus MS, and I bought a model 18 from a pawn shop outside the base. Due to my stupidity and youth, I later traded it for a Browning HiPower (which I have regretted continually since). I retired in Spokane, because of my wife, and since then I have purchased a 625-5 special edition in 45 lc, which will go to my grave with me. Then I picked up a 457 that is much more accurate that I can shoot. finally, my little brother gave me a M&P 2.0 10 mm, which I have not fully explored yet. That was halted when I was diagnosed with cancer, which I am still fighting. Since the cancer I have is one that eats away bone, the orthopedic surgeon said no stress on my ams. As I add years, I have come around to preferring old cartridges, so I am very happy with the 45 LC. I see a winchester 92 in 45LC, another model 18, and some form of a shield for EDC. I am a relative newbie to all things Smith, so please bear with me if I ask stupid questions.
Welcome to the site.
