Good Morning from WY

Morning All.

Coming originally from Germany, I lived almost 30 years in CA; then, we moved to WY last November where we are currently building our forever home. I'm retired now - received my last paycheck last week

I have been browsing the forum for a while, mostly when I had questions about my two revolvers:

Bought the 929 years ago before the CA ammo laws changed, and when we decided to standardize on two calibres, 9mm and 308. I added the 986 a couple of months ago for EDC.

Love the wealth of information here, thanks for having me.

Welcome to the Forum. Wyoming is great in the summer time, how was it this winter? Looks like some pretty good shooting attested to by all the holes in the center of that target. I like the 929 too although don't shoot it enough. Hard to go wrong with your choice of a 308.

Thanks ! We are about 50 miles east of Yellowstone, in the "Mountain Desert", three acres along the Windriver. A bit, but not much snow in winter; occasionally down to -30 F or so early in the year - fire wood time

The Wyoming Weapons Collectors gun show is this Memorial Day weekend in Riverton. You just moved, you're building, you're busy, but if you get a chance pop in at the Fremont County Fairgrounds (south end of Riverton on Federal Blvd) so we can give you a proper welcome to the state. $6 entry, free parking. Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
