Good sign

I got texted this picture today from a friend who was in sportsman's warehouse looking for ammo, with a text asking if I wanted them.

I didn't notice the text until an hour later, but fortunately they got snagged for only $35 per 1000 limit of 2. This is a really good sign for us here. First primers I've seen anywhere for over a year. Maybe things are finally turning. Let's hope so. It's also encouraging that they weren't gouging on price.

My brother is so desperate for ammo, he has agreed to help reload! I checked my stash and quit looking when I found 2500 WSP's (that may be all I have or I may have another 5K-won't know until I look!) Since I have a few thousand 38's loaded, I can primer 2K of 9mm for us to play with. But I do have the 500 brass and bullets for 380 I've been thinking about loading since 1983.

Thank you for sharing that ray of light in an otherwise dark time. I haven't seen any primers anywhere and it's nice to see they do exist! I appreciate it.

The owner of a LGS I spoke with recently told me he was starting to receive regular ammo shipments from his wholesale suppliers instead of having to purchase ammo on the secondary market just to have something in stock.

I've got my fingers crossed that this is a Good Sign as well!
