Got a "new" 2" model 64.

[Shorty 45 MK2]

I got the snub K-frame bug about 5 months ago with a 2" model 10-9 and after finding out how nice it carried it ended up taking up more and more holster time over my Shorty. Well it's humid down here and I'm lazy and didn't want to mess with the bluing so I ended up selling it and getting a model 64-6 in a round about way.

It's a police trade in with some wear but not bad. Also has MIM parts but that doesn't bother me since it's going to be a carry gun.

Thanks for the picture. Nice revolver. Not a huge fan of the bob job, but there's a lid for every pot, as we say around here. My 64-2 2" is a California Department of Corrections trade-in, and at the moment, it's my nightstand piece.

I was surprised when you sold your 10 as you raved about it. Now I see why. Same package only stainless for the elements. Good upgrade. Also carry ready with the bobbed hammer. A few more pics are needed when you get time.

Muss, I'm not smart enough to have DA/SA and having DAO forces me to get good with a DA trigger.

KLYDE, Yeah, I loved that 10 and it did have a lighter trigger (9ish lbs.) but I sweat pretty bad and I'm lazy so not a very good combo with bluing.

That is a nice one Shorty. It will make a better carry gun. I like blued for looks, and the range. But, I actually "use" my stainless examples.
