From Bass Pro, no less! Before Christmas they were running a 10% off gift card deal. I bought a $250 card for $225. Had to buy it by 12/10 and couldn’t use it until 12/26. I ordered an 8lb. keg for $269.99 and had it shipped to store for no shipping and no haz mat. Veteran’s discount got it down to $260 with tax, then the $225 gift card and $10 cash got it to $235 and change out the door. I know, not pre-Covid prices, but I think <$30 lb isn’t too bad.

**Update**

I got an email from bass pro yesterday that my order has been cancelled and Longshot is no longer available in 1, 4, or 8 lb. containers. Hopefully, it’s just a temporary setback, and they’ll have it back in stock soon. Just my rotten luck:mad:

I have 6 pounds of Longshot, I have been using it in 44-40 in my 544. I have found no data on Hodgdon's website for pistol calibers, as I am interesting in phasing out the use of Unique in favor of Longshot.

Where do you find loading info for Longshot in handgun calibers?

I use Longshot for 357 Sig, 28-gauge 1300 fps loads, and hotter 12-gauge Sporting Clays loads. I buy it by the 4- & 8-pound jugs.

Loading data? I found handgun in the Hodgdon yearly Magazine, and shotgun data on line.

Since I posted this, I had two more orders cancelled. Each time they cancelled the order, they would give me a promo code for an additional 10% off. I ordered again last Friday using one of the codes and it let me use it in addition to my military discount. I kept checking my order status to see if I got another cancellation. Finally got an email this morning that it was in and I went and picked it up during my lunch break. Total out the door after using the promo code and the other discounts I mentioned in the first post was $235.09…not too shabby!
