My part of Penn's Woods got hit with a nasty storm yesterday.

Tree down in my backyard, drip edge ripped off the side of the house. Lots of limb damage to the surrounding trees.

I took half a day off to start cleaning up. Looks like my weekend got booked up.

I've been at this house for 16 years, and we've never gotten hit this hard. I know some of you deal with tornadoes and hurricanes, but this part of PA usually doesn't get extremely powerful storms.

I hope that this is an anomaly.

What part of Pa?

I am in Bucks County and the storm was all flash, not much wind.

I do tree work and no calls from the storm.

You have my sympathies quikdraw. Having lived with hurricanes most of my life we've finally moved to the foothills of NC where I hope the storms aren't quite as bad.

They get some pretty good ones and some are what is left of the Florida storms. Elsa just dropped about 6 inches of rain on me today but the wind was not to bad. It is headed through Georgia no but going to the coast more than straight up through the NC hills I think. The coast of SC and NC will get some of it I think.

Tipped your camera over also.

I was supposed to drive back to S. FL today from NC. Good call to leave yesterday.

I have not watch the news yet but I listen to the police scanner. Many trees down traffic lights out localize street flooding. Bridgeville, down the hill from me got hit. They got hit bad several years ago with a death nearby. The fire department today was pumping out Baldwin Street which was near the severe flooding several years ago. I hope those businesses nearby didn’t get flooded again.
I went upstairs to watch the storm lots of big lightning. Came in from the Southwest. LEO was busy.
