Got into the safe. Ladysmith and 1917 info

Values are a slight trick because the ladysmith is a non-factory refinish, and the grips on the (early w/grooved hammer and otherwise dang perfect) 1917 were refinished poorly (note how they no longer fit right).

Ladysmiths are anything in the 600 - stratosphere in price. If we are talking pure "replacement cost" for insurance, I'd say that's about a 800-900 dollar gun, assuming its all functional and the barrel isnt cracked from shooting .22lr out of it.

The 1917, despite the grips (which I would want to find replacements for) is about $1000-$1200 these days, they are very desirable, and thats a super nice one from what I see there. Could be hard to sell with the bad grips though.

Agree with sixgun, the M frame has been refinished. Probably $600 in today's market with the provisos he mentions.

Only shoot CCI 22 Long CB caps or Aguila Colibri's out of it. 22 Long Rifle will wreck it quick.

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! Your Model 1917, SN 15706, was made in January 1918. I believe that is too late for the dished grips. You can check if they are original by checking the SN stamped on the inside of the right grip panel.
