Did the front lawn the other day at 11:30 am and was glad to get it done with the days getting warmer, here in Reno Nevada.

Today I got a little earlier head start at 7 am, so the neighbors would not complain, since some of us "Retired type" sometimes
like to sleep in a little, if we had a ruff day or a little parting with friends.

It went a lot better and I did not even break out in a sweat, with the old push, gas mower, which is one of my "Exercise" units, that I use, to keep in shape.
I have to admit, that mowing in 68* is a lot more fun than in 89* temperatures.
Saturday were hit 101*............. Summer is here.

Aug. 1 is the "half-way point" here in the swamp. Been "abnormally hot" lately, highs 96*-97*/ 95% humidity and no afternoon showers to cool things down. I'm inside 11 am-4pm for the near future. At least in Reno it will break, that don't ever happen here in Summer. Joe

The heat doesn’t usually bother me and I generally prefer the warmer temps to colder but a few days ago it was 107 here in Richmond, VA and it was exhausting. When I’m not working I get my hiking and outdoor chores done early.
