Fed Ex dropped off my two 15 round Shield Plus mags... The 15 rounders just came out :)

Surprised me on a Sunday.

Woohoo :)

Now I have 16 Shield Plus mags for the two Shield Plus models I have :)

I ordered them from here: S&W EQUALIZER/SHIELD PLUS 9MM 15RD MAG | Range USA

I had never ordered from them before, and they are a bit slow. I ordered them on 12-3-22. But, they did come :)

So I just picked up a Shield + today. Can I assume this will make capacity total 16, including 1 in the chamber?

Ordered my 2 mags from Mag-warehouse on 12-12-22 and they still haven't made it to my home. I think I am more excited to have a full grip on my Plus because I have very large hands. The 2 extra rounds will be nice but having 100% of my hand on the grip will be comforting.

Do the spacers still have that seam in the front? One of my 13-rounders split right down the seam and I wonder if they changed the design at all.

shipwreck - With the problems I, and others, have had with the 13 round magazines, I'm curious if you had difficulty loading 15 rounds in your new magazines?
Thanks

I can't speak for shipwreck, but with mine I was able to load 13 by hand, 14 and 15 required a loading tool. It loaded easily with the tool, but did need the tool.

I wonder how long it'll be before MagGuts comes out with a 17 round kit for the 15 round mag?

Yes on the seam.

I was asked this on another forum. I was able to load all 15 by hand with no issues - and I used no loader.

I received my 15 rounders 2 days ago and was able to fit 15 into them . The last round was hard to get in just like the 13 round magazines last round. What I like is it fits my large hand perfectly. I can now get a full purchase on the grip and when I can get out to fire the pistol this weekend I am sure it will be a lot better to control.
A funny thing did happen to me when I loaded it up and put it on my hip it felt extremely heavy. I was puzzled how adding 2 more rounds would make the little pistol so much heavier but I figured it out. I normally carry 115 grain and I had loaded it up with 147 grain bullets. Once I put in 15 rounds of 115 grain all was good..LOL Merry Christmas everyone.

I got my 2 15 round mags in yesterday.

Too cold and too much Christmas to shoot them yet, but....

Mags loaded easily with Uplula. With the mags empty, just pressing the mag release would not drop the mags. A slight pull was required. Full the mags dropped out but not quite as readily as the 13 and 10 rounders.

Hopefully this will work better after shooting with the mags.

I am getting range withdrawal.

My 15 round mags are super hard to load past 13 rounds with a maglula to boot.
