Well, at the age of 41 I finally went down a couple weeks ago and applied for my WA state CPL. On Tuesday it arrived. That was the only Christmas gift I needed. Now to go shopping.

still waiting for mine...I had to go back downtown Seattle a second time for prints as they didn't like the electronic one...so they did it the old fashioned way with ink...should get mine after the 1st of the year

Thank you and that is 100% my plan. I hope I never find myself in a position of having to use my firearm (don't even own one yet) against any person.
Me too. I had one years ago, but let it lapse. My new one came in today's mail.
congrats now you have to read alot on this forum and figure out what you want to carry and how your going to carry then you might have to pick out a holster . lots of good people here to help you with that

Well, I applied for mine on June 10th 2013 and still waiting. Thank God I'm in an open carry state so I don't have to go unarmed.
I sent the state an E-Mail and asked for an eta and they sent back that they have my app and if all goes well I should have it in the next few weeks............... Go figure
