I purchased this revolver from J&R LLC in Livermore CA. As you can see in the store picture, the finish contained more scratches than I would have preferred on a brand new S&W revolver. I took out most of the scratches with BlueMagic as you can see in the second picture. The barrel is mounted true to the frame and not canted as far as I can tell. However, the trigger doesn't sit perfectly in the center of the trigger guard. I wouldn't have thought to look for this "defect" if other S&W owners had not brought this to my attention. Is the "trigger offset" a real problem or does this happen to most Smith's?
