I got my son a S&W knife last summer and it nolonger opens the same way (the assist button on the back does not work). It will open but not as fandancy and all.

Anyone know who/where/how I would contact for service?

I'm not sure you could get your knife serviced as the knives are not manufactured in the US. There is probably no warrenty on them anyway. Throw it away and get another one. Or better still, buy a Buck, Spyderco, Emerson, Benchmande or other quality made product and forget the cheepie china stuff.
