Got myself a 4 inch Pre-27

Stopped by the local gun store this afternoon to say hello to some friends and this caught my eye in the cabinet and I decided I had to have it.

The stag grips drew my attention and then I realized it was a Pre-27 with a 4in barrel.

The stag grips have a great patina and all the numbers match. The gun is definitely "shooter grade" but nothing egregious and it was priced right...

I know the 4 inch barrel wasn't cataloged and considered a custom order but does anyone have the production numbers for it?

Not rare, but very scarce. Especially in a Pre-Model.

Yea I believe the S/N would put it around 1957. Also forgot I snapped another picture.

You might have the only shooter grade 4" pre-27.

I would think that adds to its value.
