I don't recall seeing a nickel gun picture thread. I like pictures.

My coworkers make fun of this gun incessantly. It is called "ghetto" "pimp" and other such foolishness. Mere boys cannot appreciate such beauty.

I still haven't figured out how to take a proper picture of it. I try :D

The single action on the gun is acceptable, the double action is silky smooth, and the lockup is rock solid.

Please feel free to share.

I m just plain queer for nickel firearms! I have not learned to make a good picture are post it. So maybe LF can help me post this weekend. Need a Colt Hammerless in nickel to be complete.

Pls. don't allow the "opinions" of others to influence what you like/want, or make you defensive. I like the look of a nickel gun too and don't much care what others think or say.

I have a few of the shiny ones...

M27-3 8 7/8" not the most popular gun in the world

M27-2 4"

M10 -? I forget....

M61-3 Escort

M36 flat latch, not a factory nickel job...

How about a Colt Cobra and its little brother

My only nickel gun is a model 49 no dash and I don't have any pictures of it. Thing is so pretty I hate to use it. Fortunately I have a 649-2 that is not quite as cute so it gets all the carry duty. I just don't love all my little guns the same.

JCS&W, great pics and guns. Man, those Royal Walnut Kuracs on that 58 are fetchin'!

Thanks wbraswell and sophie for the kind words. I believe I have a "problem" when it comes to nickel Smiths. Here are a couple of L frames, and an off brand model.

Some beautiful guns here. The one time I tried to buy a nickel gun was the one time I got hosed on GB. :-(
This thread inspired me to dig it out.

Another instance when I'd like the ability to give multiple "likes". I feel the same dern way!

As to the OPs question, Got nickel? My answer would be yes....and no. See, this was my grand father's gun when he was a young sport and before he met my grandmother. A young lady he was courting gave it to him before they broke up.

It's a S&W top break 5-shot .38. It was originally nickel plated when it was made in 1885 but not much left of the nickel plating these days. Can y'all spell P A T I N A ? :D

I'd like to put this piece up as 1st place winner in the ugliest-gun-in-a-thread award. :o

I prefer nickel s&w n frame revolvers. I figured I'd buy the nickel ones I want first. Then go back and buy some blued guns in certain calibers n n frames. I hope I can order some new n frames in nickel soon. Once my hunger for the standard n frames in nickel is satisfied I wonder if I can special order the n frames with 8 3/8" barrels in nickel too.

Ooopsie! Forgot about the Webley. I sure hope Miss Pam doesn't find out about this. I can just hear her now; "You got so many guns you can't even remember 'em all?!?!?" I te'ya I'd never hear the end of it.
