It's been about 3(?) years since I sold my SD9VE. I've missed it. While browsing the used guns at my LGS, I came across this lil beauty. And with a price tag of $180, how could I pass it up. I'm an SD owner again.

I missed the simplicity and the reliability, and the fact that I learned to shoot with it.
It's also nice to think about how so many people talk **** about it and how lousy the trigger is. And yet I learned to shoot it quite well. It wasn't until AFTER I got better with it when I made my one and only mod, which was the Apex spring kit to give it a lighter pull.

Great deal on the pistol and plenty of 9mm on sale. I had one for awhile only trouble was manipulating the narrow take down plate .

There have been a lot of used SW#VE and SD#VE pistols on sale for cheap lately and I'm not sure why. Is there a rebate going on or something so this is just gun shops reducing the prices on used models to compete?

At any rate, excellent deal. I paid $199 last month for a LNIB SW40VE which only included a single reduced capacity 10 round magazine.
