After having the thing sit around for a week because I was on call, I finally got to take micro Shield Plus to the range.

Have to say I do like the thing. Sighting in the RMRcc took 6 rounds, and was able to keep everything in the black at 50ft on the B-3 targets shooting reasonably fast.

Did have 2 issues. First, the light loads I put together for the other pistols would not cycle the thing. For some of the loads this was expected, and my other two recent pistol purchases had the same problem until I got about 150 rounds through them. Because of this I was only able to get the 50 rounds of Blazer 115grn aluminum case I brought with me through it, as I refuse to pay what the range is getting for 50 9mm 115grn.

Second problem, 2 light primer strikes with the Blazer rounds, that both fired the second time through. For the loads I made with CCI #500, all 50 I tried went off fine. At this point I can't say if it's the gun or the ammo that was the problem but am leaning towards blaming the ammo.

Only other thing I kind of don't like is the safety, but that's really not a problem, and something I'm sure more practice with it will solve.

Glad you like it. I like mine too. I've never had one light strike in any of my semi autos. Probably 15 of them. All my reloads went bang the first time. I've had a few .38 rounds have light strikes, but only in my S&W revolvers. Never one in any of my Rugers. I think the heavier trigger and hammer in the Rugers prevent them from happening.
