Governor and Uncle Mike holster

I finally got my Christmas present, a little late, Uncle Mikes holster. I did a little research and I decided to try out this one compared to a leather holster.
I heard a few complaints about it, mostly that it is meant for a Judge instead of a Governor.

I got a few pictures. Weapon is unloaded.
So far I can't get it to go in too deep. I'lll work on it for a few weeks and see if I can get it in deeper.

It is not safe to carry it as it shows in the picture. Too many things can "grab" that exposed trigger.

Yes, I have the strap that goes over the trigger. It's just removed to show how the revolver fits in the holster.

I had the same problem with a UM holster for my Governor. The packaging listed it as one of the guns that it fit but it wouldn't go in. Try ebay, lots of choices there. I got a nice US made nylon OWB for about $16.
