Governor prices?

I ran across a all black governor,with Crimson trace. The gun looks clean as new,in the original box. Owner says he might have shot 300 rounds through it. What are these going for used?

Probably a little less than the cheapest price you can find new within an hour, but I wouldn’t expect too much off with such light use.

Lots of these for sale new at $600-700 on Gunbroker without the laser. I didn't see any used ones. I'd say $500 for a used one with the laser would be a fair price. I don't think these are in great demand, so you might do better. I bought a new Silver Governor 2 years ago and love it. More than 1000 rounds through it, mostly Federal 000 .410 buckshot rounds. It's a lot of fun to shoot and patterns well out to 50 feet with this load. Shoots well with .45 Colt also, never tried .45 ACP. I think the S&W is much better than the Taurus Judge, which does not pattern well.

I would say the 5 hundred range would be fair from what I've seen locally but you don't see many used I guess people who own them love em .

If they are going for $500 to $600, without the Crimson trace. I guess you can add atleast $100 to $150, with the Crimson trace. Would that be a good estimate?
