I did a search but it did not find any threads with the question I want to ask.

What luck have people had buying via the grabagun webstite? Their prices seem rather low (for a gun I am looking at almost $200 below list) and their shipping is cheap (< $8 for a gun).

They have a storefront here in Dallas so they are legit....they just are a bit loosey goosey with inventory sometimes. Complete an order on line and at times you will get a notice that the item is no longer in stock, so if you see something or get an email something just came in, order it quickly.

I've only ordered from them once - no problems, fast, etc. My FFL dealer says he has had quite a few customers ordering firearms from them also with good results.

I've bought a couple of handguns from them without issue, but that was five+ years ago. I'd assume they were safe still unless I heard something different.

For a handgun shipped by an FFL (which can ship handguns via USPS), it should be pretty cheap, although $8 is really good right now as the USPS prices continue to rise.

I ordered a Mini-14 from them last year. I had asked my local dealer if he ever used them and he said "all of the time". He doesn't sell new stuff so he has no issue doing transfers from them.

Everything went well and I had my rifle within a week. My dealer only charged me $20 for the transfer but made up with the related sales, 1500 rounds.

I just bought my second gun from them last week. It arrived at my dealer less that 48 hours after I paid. Kinda slow compared to the first one, it arrived in less than 30 hours.

Absolutely delighted with both transactions and the best prices I could find.

I'm local to GAG. I've purchased multiple things from them and picked up at their store front. All reasonably good experiences. Plus our local Cabelas will price match (or at least used to before the BP debacle)......

I've ordered several hand guns from them over the past few years with no problems. All were shipped via UPS 2-day air at the 7.95 shipping rate advertised.

I have not had any problems with out of stock items at ordering; however sometimes they will take a few days from order to shipment.
