The Shield has been around long enough to work out bugs and is a more reliable weapon. I looked at the 365 at LGS and I am quite pleased to stay with my Shield.

299-350 shields were common for years pre 365.

I don't think it has much of anything to do with the 365. Every now and then the Shield would go on a great sale like this one, years well before the 365 existed.
