Green Box Help

A gentleman brought a box into the gun shop and I told him I would ask the experts on this forum for information.

The box was dark green and measured 8 1/8 x 3 1/8 x 1 1/4.

SMITH & WESSON

SINGLE 32 ACTION

NICKEL 3 1/2 INCH

This is what was on the printed label on the end of the box.

Does anyone have any idea of what pistol may have come in this box and about what time frame?

Should be a spur trigger 32 S&W caliber top-break revolver like the one below.
