I have been growing tomatoes in Reno since the 70's and this is the first year that I have ever had green tomatoes that have not turned at least orange, befor the first frost or snow hits.
This year looks like fried green tomatoes, for everyone, unless we get a hot spell.
put them in a brown paper bag sealed with a chip clip and they will ripen... we have had fresh tomatoes at Thanksgiving this way.. just keep checking bag every couple of days...
