I have frequented this fourm often over a period of time prior to joining. And I like what I've seen. This place is like being at my favorite shooting range and listening to the chatter.
My appreciation of Smith&Wesson started back when I was in the Air Force in the late 60's. The weapon carried in a pouch in the parachute was a S&W snub-nose 38. In the late 70's I gave my father-in-law a Model 48, which has returned to me on his passing. Over the years, my wife and I have accumulated a few more. My CCW pistol is a M&P 40. After lots of practice with other pistols, my wife has decided that the S&W 1911 is her choice for IDPA.
Target shooting, reloading, sailing, and experimenting with the Linux operating system are some of my favorite interests.
I am looking forward to interaction with you fine folks.
