I live in northern New Mexico on the border with Colorado. I am on a small farm at the edge of a village with about 190 people and lot more elk. Mostly Spanish speaking, I am own of the few outsiders with a different heritage. The village was settled around 1800 and has survived Spanish, Mexican, and American administration. Plenty of not so fortunate encounters with the original inhabitants; the Ute Nation, the Apache, and the Dine'. Major battle fought here in 1846. Now, we all get along, more or less.
I have owned several S&W revolvers over the years and carried one on the job long ago. I currently own Colts and Rugers but mean to rectify this absence shortly.
