Bryuer is my handle. It was going to be Briar, because I'm a pipesmoker, and it's from the briar wood (Erica arborea) they make some of the best pipes, but someone had the handle already. So I butchered the spelling and made the best of it. (Like you care.

What brought me here? I was seeking information on the SW 39-2, which I recently inherited. It's in pretty good condition considering the way it was stored for the last few years. I oiled it up and took it to the range.

I only started shooting this past year. Here in MA it's not easy to obtain your license. But I do have a Class A with large capacity, so I guess they trust me. I'm really getting into the sport, and I take the responsibility seriously. Just completed my first coarse at Sig Acadamy, and will be going for #2 in Dec. I eventually want to go to Blackwater for a three day training. But I'm open to alternatives.
Other handguns I own: Beretta 950 BS, Glock 23, SW 15-3, SW 638, Colt 1911A1, Makarov (East German) 9x18.
Politically (should I say?) I'm heavily toward the right with an I don't really care what others do, so long as I'm not required to pay for it attitude. Long live the 2nd Amendment. And Political Correctness is just another way of saying, "I'm scared." I'm not.
