Fishslayer
US Veteran, Absent Comrade
Hail Komrad Citizens.
I'm a retired squid working as a technician. I became interested in wheelguns after my Ruger KP90 proved to be a jam-o-matic right out of the box. It's in Prescott at the moment, but it'll be awhile before I trust it.
Only two calibers are really of any interest to me. Semi auto = .45 ACP and wheelguns = .357/.38. That's just the way it is.
Recently I purchased my first S&W. It's a 4" 28-2 Highway Patrolman. Near as I can tell it was made in '66 and is in VERY nice shape. I kinda had my heart set on a M19 (still do) but after being a day late on two of 'em I came across the 28. Heavy, overbuilt, not flashy. My style completely. I pick it up the 26th...
I've also decided to get into handloading and am in the process of getting set up for .45 & .357.
Will work for primers...
