Just joined this forum as I have decided to acquire a S&W 686 with the 4.2" barrel. This will be my first revolver as up until now I have concentrated on my SIG and H&K semi's plus my Swiss Arms-Black Special.

Looking forward to this adventure. I have chicken-leg wrists and feeble fingers so I think it's time to work out these mitts a bit.

Plan to buy some snap caps to work the action while watching TV.
