Hello to all from Georgia, obviously I'm new to this forum but I am now the proud owner of (2) fine S&W revolvers. These were my parents guns, one is a Model 581 .357 Magnum that was my dads, it has a serial # AJZ3xxx finish is blued w/square grip. The other was my moms Model 15-4 .38 Special , it has a serial # 26K7xxx finish is Nickel also w/square grip and both are 4" barrel. I don't know anything more about these fine handguns such as their age, but am looking foward to getting them out on the range and having some fun, including getting my wife out there and teaching her to use the .38

Welcome from VA. I have the same S&W 15-4 (4" nickel). I love shooting it. Enjoy. This is a great forum and a lot of good help when in trouble and need advice on your handguns. I have a few S&W from my father as well from 1957, and 1958. Great handguns.
