Just bought my first "brand new" weapons from a dealer yesterday. I felt a sense of urgency with the tragedy that unfolded in Connecticut yesterday. I'd been wanting to add to my (very small) collection for some time and thought, "no time like the present".
I'm 52 years old, retired/disabled Air Force MSgt and civilian contractor. I like wrenching on my vehicles, riding my Harley and owning/shooting firearms.
Yesterday I bought a new M&P 15 and an M&P 9C. I'm anxious to get to try them out and get comfortable/proficient with their use. I thought this would be a great forum to learn about them and meet some folks in the process.
