Greetings to all; first post, just joined.
I'm retired USCG CPO, and the PDW of my generation was the Berretta M9A1. I had a Springfield Hellcat for a while, but I just sold because I just couldn't "like" it. It carried nice, but I never enjoyed shooting it and couldn't feel confident with it.
So I started going through the usual suspects from the rental rack at the range, and holy cow, with the M&P 2.0 compact, I could shoot again like I did in the Guard!
So soon a 2.0 Compact or SC will likely my next carry, with the Response and some other various implements of stress relief in the locker. My wife is enjoying her Shield EZ, which is generally at the ready in the nightstand safe. Yes, sticking with the 9mm theme (for now).
Other stuff: Truck Camping ('96 Lance Squire Lite on 2012 F-350), Surf Fishing on Assateague Island MD and Amateur Radio (W3COB).
Best Wishes to all!
Doug
Edit: Well less than 24 hours from making this intro post, a new M&P 2.0 Compact in FDE just followed me home from the range! I put 20 rounds through it right away, and confirmed I made the right decision for me.
